Tortilla Flat is an authentic remnant of an old west town, nestled in the midst of the Tonto National Forest’s Superstition Mountain Range. As well as being home for six adventurous people, Tortilla Flat has a charm that has surpassed time. Tortilla Flat started out as a stage coach stop in the early 1900’s and neither fire or flood has been able to remove this historic stop along the Apache Trail. Mosey down the boardwalk and visit the Superstition Saloon and Mercantile. Real western saddles serve as bar stools where you can enjoy a cold brew or sarsaparilla. The unique wall paper is made of real dollar bills.

Our Restaurant serves the biggest burgers and the hottest chili. Open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas. Breakfast is served at 9:00 am. during the week and 8:00 am. on Saturday and Sunday. The Gift Shop is sure to be able to supply your needs for the unusual, and one of a kind. We do close at 6:00 PM. during the week and 7:00 PM. on the weekends. During the winter season, Tortilla Flat’s Outside patio is open December 26th until Easter. Enjoy live foot stompin’ country music, while feasting on the great food cooked on our open grill. Patio hours are noon till 4:00 pm, every day. Tortilla Flat’s Country Store has the one and only “Prickly Pear’ ice cream and frozen yogurt. A visit to our nostalgic country store will bring back memories of times long gone.

The feeling of Tortilla Flat is one that keeps attracting visitors. From the burned out hotel, no phones, old one room school house to the hangin’ tree, you’ll swear time has stood still.
